Armond Mosley to Present Workshop on Building Your Personal Brand

This year, we are introducing a new workshop for the beaux on the topic of building a personal brand, presented by Mr. Armond Mosley.

It is clear that success begins with self-packaging.  The way in which our beaux present themselves will often determine the opportunities they are afforded.  Specifically, with social media as part of our daily lives, it is important that we remember how we portray ourselves because the internet leaves a permanent footprint in the sands of our lives.

Ebony Magazine featured author, Armond Mosley is an energetic and passionate thought leader in the personal, professional, and spiritual development space.  Obtaining a B.S. in chemical engineering from Howard University, Armond’s professional journey began at Merck & Co., Inc. in 2003 as a participant in its rotational development program.  After 5 years with Merck, Armond moved on to begin a career in consulting with Procurian, Inc. and currently serves as its Global Transition Lead and Capability & Skill Leader.  In 2007, Armond founded Kingdom Workshops, LLC. and since that time, he’s worked with many civic organizations, colleges and universities, and churches to provide solutions to the issues facing their respective constituencies.  Utilizing candor, transparency, and humor, Armond provides seminar attendees with a pragmatic approach to secure the very best that life has to offer.  In 2011, Armond published his first book entitled, “Rededication: A Story of Sex, Repentance and Restoration.”

Mr. Mosley will present his workshop on February 9, 2013.

Celebrating our 1st Beau to Graduate from College

It is with great pleasure that we celebrate the first of our 2009 beaux to graduate from college!  Tyree Watkins has completed his studies early at Duke University and was cleared for graduation in December 2012.

Watkins, a native of Camden, New Jersey, studied sociology with a minor in education at Duke University. He was accepted to the university on an athletic scholarship and played with the Duke football team for three seasons.  During his collegiate career, Tyree totaled 24 receptions and 152 yards as a wide receiver.

Beginning in the spring semester of 2013, Tyree will start his studies toward a master’s degree in education at Wagner University in New York.  Additionally, he will join the football team as a receiver for his remaining one year of eligibility with the NCAA, with the potential for a second.

We are immensely proud of Tyree and all of his achievements!
